Connect Groups
We are all about ‘Doing life together’
At the core of who we are we believe in connecting with God and connecting with People. Based on Matthew 23:27-40 where Jesus told us the greatest commandment:
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 22:36-40 NIV
Loving God and loving others is how we believe we are called to live. Everything we do is based on building healthy relationships with each other which is done out of our personal relationship with God.
Every fortnight we meet in Connect Groups
Connect groups are a time where we come together and ‘do life’.
We eat together, we fellowship and talk about life, we include intentional things to every single person feel included and connected regardless of how long they’ve been coming. We then spend some time talking about the message from a Sunday, what we got from it and how it applies to our lives. Then to close the night of we spend time praying for each other for whatever needs we may have.
There’s nothing like Connect.
Connect Groups in CMC are an amazing time. They are fun, relaxed and a great time to connect with other believers where we can encourage each other. We dont need to do life alone!
