Prayer Meetings
Why pray?
“Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference.” – Max Lucado
“To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” – Martin Luther
At CMC we believe in prayer as the backbone to everything we do. On an individual level your relationship with God should be the most important relationship in your life and this relationship is formed in prayer and reading the Bible.
We pray whenever we come together knowing that God does above and beyond what we could do in our limited abilities.
Prayer and Praise
We make room in our Sunday Celebrations to praise God for answered prayer and to bring our requests before him. At a service, you will find the Prayer and Praise cards at the information desk – fill one in and the church will pray together for your request.
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20 NIV
Weekly Prayer Meetings
There are a few oppurtunities to get together in prayer throughout the week.
Currently at 5.30pm before Team Night on a Monday Night and 10.30 on Friday morning both happen at the church.
